First Meals In Paris

On the way to Paris from Rennes, our train stopped in Le Mans.  We had just about 45 minutes so we hastily chose a little eatery and enjoyed lunch.  I ordered a Camembert sandwich and a glass of Riesling.

Gana had a chitterlings sausage and pomme frites.

For dinner we ate at Cafe du March, which was just steps away from our hotel.

We started with two glasses of champagne.  I had the fried duck with pomme frites.  Gana had a steak.  I had a glass of white wine and Gana had a 1664 beer.

In true French style, we finished with a plate of assorted cheeses.

 And café créme.

Note: Coffee tastes better in Europe.  Must be something about the milk.
