I tried to make a fruit bouquet once and all the fruit slid off the skewers. Had did you get yours to stay and look so pretty?
We definitely need the recipe for the cheesecake. Please???

To get the fruit to stay, I used thick skewers. Skewers do come in different sizes. Don't get ones that are too thin. You need ones that can support heavy fruits.

I had to break most of the skewers because they were too long. Next time I think I'll try shorter ones, like the wooden sticks used to hold meat together. Maybe then I won't have any unsightly ends when the sticks are pulled out.

I'm sitting in a small coffee shop in my neighborhood on a lil date with myself...and they are totally out of any type of baked good. This is probably for the best, and I haven't missed having a treat tonight...UNTIL I got a look at those brownies.
Amazing.
