"An empty stomach is not a good political advisor."
(Albert Einstein)

Watching political debates is a family affair. And what goes better with politics than food?
Here we had build-your-own-veggie-burritos. I just adore colorful food!

And chocolate ice cream on sugar cones.

Of course, if I wanted to prepare a totally politically themed meal it would be pork and nuts...and some arugula just for those Obama supporters.

Hey, can't non-Obama supporters enjoy Arugula? ;)

I happen to love the stuff.
(I know- weird)

Although every time I say the word, I am reminded of Steve Martin in My Blue Heaven saying "It's a veg-e-table!"

Yea, I like arugula, too.

You watched it on NBC? Shame on you! :-)

I'm sure you didn't serve arugula, because of how the price is going up, right? LOL

Brokaw was the moderator of that debate. He was on every channel.

Oh, yeah. Silly me. I forgot.
